So, we took a trip for a big birthday. How did that translate into a magazine article?

Well, the locations were beautiful, but what makes it work, I think, is tying as many aspects of it as possible around a theme of age.

Otherwise, it would just be a random collection of vignettes. And that doesn't tend to feel right in a reader's mind - even if they aren't quite sure why.
